We’re always doing something fun here at The Paper Place. This time we’d like to give all the young artist’s out there a chance to show us their talent! Stop by the store to pick up your entry package for our Kids Collage Challenge and explore your love for paper! Open to kids ages 12 and under.
We have just received new products from our friends at Bookhou Design. Bookhou is a local, Toronto based company that specializes in making beautiful and unique things from natural and handmade materials. Their products are all handmade, and have always been a favourite at our store. Here’s a look at some new things we just got in!

This dress, which was designed and hand crafted by our fabulous staff, is made with “Kozuke White”. A 70% Kozo (Mulberry Fibre) machine made Japanese paper. Kozuke is a good quality, versatile and economical sheet. Perfect for a variety of uses including light painting with watercolour or acrylic, drawing with soft pencil, printmaking…and clearly, dressmaking!

Get inspired to do-it-yourself! Diana, a customer of The Paper Place, did it herself. She designed and constructed her own wedding invitations.

Diana designed this sweet invitation and printed it herself using Print Gocco, even the envelope. She used our cardstock in “Cement” and A7 envelope in “Strawberry.” It looks fantastic and is completely custom!
