Catalyst Theatre’s Frankenstein, a paper production….

On Monday night I had the distinct pleasure of seeing Catalyst Theatre’s Production of Frankenstein, currently at The Bluma Appel Theatre.  It was absolutely magical, the paper sets and costumes did not disappoint.

Please stop by the store to enter our Frankenstein ticket giveaway contest
or visit the Canadian Stage website to purchase tickets. If you would like more information, please visit the Frankenstein Facebook page (there is a great video that talks about the paper costumes/sets) or read this interview with Production Designer Bretta Gerecke.

We were happy to donate paper for the window display at the Bluma Appel Theatre that accompanies the show. We are always delighted to celebrate the endless possibility of paper!

    Hi!
Thanks so much for this great write up. The paper used in the show is tissue paper and phone books!
