Stitched Spine Collage Journal Workshop!

Tuesday March 24th, 6:30-9:30pm – $65 + HST

Come flex your creative muscles and learn a brand new skill in our Stitched Spine Collage Journal workshop! Hand-bound books are not only incredibly satisfying to make, but they also make great (and impressive!) gifts for friends and family. Combining the art of collage with our beautiful Japanese papers, this darling little journal is the perfect introduction to the world of bookbinding.

Payment is required upon registration for all workshops to guarantee a space. You may register in person at the store or by phone with a credit card. Withdrawal allowed up to three days before the workshop. There are no refunds after that time. Unfortunately we do not have access to washroom facilities at the store. Adult participants only please (unless specifically stated).

Looking for a Part-time Seasonal Sales Associate!

If you’re passionate about paper, have a proven sales background and would like the opportunity to join our small family, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for an enthusiastic part time sales person who is able to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing retail environment.  This is primarily a seasonal position but there is an opportunity for a permanent position after the holidays are over.

Requirements include proven sales experience in a retail setting, strong work ethic, a background in the material arts and availability that includes weekends (Saturdays are a must!) and some evenings.

Please include your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant retail job history and any experience you have in the paper arts. We are currently looking for someone 1-3 shifts per week on average. An ability to be flexible when more shifts are available (staff vacations, around the holidays, etc….) is an asset!
