6 x 8 Exhibit

The opening event for our 6 x 8 call for submissions turned out to be a lovely success. Thank you to all of the participants and to those who have come to see the exhibit. The show runs until October 30th, so come and take a look at some truly inspiring work. Included in the showcase of  Toronto talent are works by our Best In Show winner Christina Sandi Tjandra and Runner Up Sean McLauchlan.

Come to The Paper Place for our annual 6×8 Exhibition!

The Paper Place is excited to present the paper lovers and art junkies of Toronto with this year’s roster of 6×8 Etchu Hagaki works of art! Distributed to the public, these magnificent 300 g Kozo Sheets have personalities that everyone should try to get to know. For anyone who missed this year’s submission process, we encourage you to come to the opening and consider submitting next year!

The 6×8 Exhibition opening will be held on Thursday, September 8 from 7 pm-9:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served.  The exhibition will continue until the end of September.

Window Exhibit at The Paper Place

June is Washi’s 1400th Birthday! In celebration, our window exhibit this month displays spectacular Jelly Fish, Nautilus and Sea Anemones made from Washi paper. A definite must-see in person! Sea Forms will be on display at The Paper Place for the month of June.
