Andrea Mastrovito – Inspired Paper Sculpture

Check out the beautiful work of artist Andrea Mastrovito below. This paper installation was part of the Slash: Paper Under the Knife exhibition at the New York Museum of Arts & Design. It is called ‘Non ci resta che piangere’ (translation: There is nothing left to do but cry) and depicts Christopher Columbus’s ship battling through stormy waters.  Amazing!!

Danish paper artist, Peter Callesen hand crafts intricate and beautiful paper cut sculptures. A majority of his work are done exclusively on A4 sized paper. Working from his delicate paper cuts, he shapes them into three dimensional paper sculptures.
